I AM CRAZY-IN-LOVE WITH SUMMER!
It’s been so hot! My thick ‘Russian-hat-like-hair’ makes me sweat like crazy.
But I’m not complaining. No Sir! I am crazy in love with summer!
And today they’re calling for 31c, that’s almost 90f for Pete’s sake, it’s gonna be a scorcher and unlike places further south, most of us don’t have AC.
Sleeping at night is a fan-on-stay-on-top-of-the-covers and don’t-let-any-part-of-your-body-touch-any-other-part-of-your-body affair.
But I’m not complaining. No Sir! I am crazy in love with summer!
And because I love summer so much. I try to get out there as often as I can.
I’ve also been quite busy with work. I have several projects I’m working on so my days have been pretty full even though I’m getting up extra early to fit it all in. I haven’t had a lot of time for socializing, or writing and reading posts. I miss my friends and keeping up with what you’re all up to!
For an extrovert like me, it’s been an interesting experience.
But I have something else to look forward to. My daughter is coming to visit this weekend!
Check out my latest summer photos below.
Between working and trying to get out in the sunshine as much as possible, my days are pretty full.
But I’m not complaining. No sir! I’m crazy in love with summer!

Love summer too…and I have always admired your energy Diana! We’ve arrived in Estonia at my parents and eat strawberries, raspberries and blueberries like 3 times a day…visiting open markets and I’m gonna spend some time in real old school summer house. Have a great time with your daughter! 🙂 Damn no proofreader here on my parent’s computer.

You know Diana, I am in love with summer, I love hot temperatures and unlike everyone else I hate AC units. Why not let the body adjust and let it do what it does in heat … sweat. That is the normal thing. I don’t like to walk into shops and they are freezing then you come out and it is hot again. I am certainly not complaining either I love the heat. I am glad when we get hot days here and make the most of it…. enjoy a good ice cream! Have a good time with your daughter.

yes I don’t like freezing AC’s either… brrrr but in really humid places I like AC. Summer in Montreal was so oppressive, I could hardly breathe. I just wouldn’t adjust the AC as cold as most seem to like it.

Well, after even more humid summers for 30 yrs. in Toronto, Calgary’s summers are fine. Just wish there were more trees.
Have a great sharing time with daughter!

Great shots of summertime in Calgary, Diana! It looks lovely around those parts right now.
I have to say that after this entire week of almost 90% humidity every day, I’m moving towards fall with arms wide open!! 😀
You wouldn’t believe the frizz going on with my hair – I washed it this morning at 7:30 am and thanks to the humidity it’s still wet now at 11:00 am.
I do miss the hot and dry summers of Calgary while floating out on the Bow river = perfection!

I’m not kidding you – I think Matt saw 98% one day, it’s insanely humid here in the summer but especially now as it’s rainy season.
Humidity is my nemesis!!

My summer isn’t the summer I’d hoped for, but I won’t complain too much because, SUMMER! Great photos!

It’s hot here in Seattle, too, Diana! I normally don’t like the heat, and we don’t have AC either, but I’m just so happy to have blue sky I’ve restricted my complaining to Very Little.! 😉

I think we have been having one of the coldest Winters here on the South Coast of South Africa. Never known it to be this cold. So although our Summers are blinding hot, we’re actually looking forward to it. Judging from the kind of winters you guys get I’m glad you’re celebrating Summer in the way you are Diana. Enjoy!

I don’t like the humidity— but I love the weather, being outside more, wearing less clothes, flowers and fresh air, and not shoveling snow!
As far as hair– I cut it short— much easier to deal with!
