I feel an explanation is needed as to why I do not nominate posts for awards.
I am so honoured by awards that I have been nominated for – they tell me that I’ve added value to the blogosphere, but here’s the thing.
I’m too busy, or just plain lazy, or just plain overwhelmed with the responsibility of complying with all the things one must do to accept an award.
Truly, it’s not because I don’t appreciate the hundreds of posts out there, because I do!
So that’s why I started Friday Pick.
Each Friday I will provide a link to a blog that has touched me that week, or made me laugh, or made me think, or just plain made my day.
If you are one of my Friday Picks, and you would like to display it on your blog, please feel free to copy the following banner for your blog.
Please check out my Friday Picks (There really are some deep and wonderful writers out there and my life is enriched by their insights and talents).
I close my comments on my Friday Picks so that you will comment on the writer’s post. So go ahead – check them out – and tell them Diana sent you 😉
If you have any other questions about my Friday Pick, you can contact me at talktodiana2004@yahoo.ca
Keep writing. Keep inspiring. Do it for the love of expression.
Peace and love,
Diana

Dear Diane, I was deeply touched by you featuring my blog as last week’s Friday Pick. I was humbled by your kind words and the words of your followers! Vic was the bravest person I ever knew. Her bravery has touched many people worldwide, and I am grateful for that. Thank you for caring. I really appreciate it!! Hugs and respect!

What a great alternative! You are participating in what I feel is the spirit of blog awards in your own creative way. Ah, so nice.

Hi Diana!
I know you don’t do awards, but I had to nominate you for one all the same 😛 It’s the Blog of the Year Award and you can find out more about it here: http://thehandwrittenlife.wordpress.com/2012/12/29/blog-of-the-year-award-2012/
And since you already share your favorites on Fridays, I figure that’s kind of the same as sharing your favorites all in one post 😉
I hope you have a wonderful new year! xoxo Andrea
