We all have things we are passionate about and most of us want to make a difference in the world.
We have all been gifted with unique talents and abilities.
And I have been amazed and delighted at how often the passions and talents of people are fortuitously matched; equipping them to accomplish their desired goals.
Even more alluring to me is how people with a common passion and a wide range of talents are drawn to each other to work together toward a common goal.
It’s like a choreographed dance or a beautiful symphony.
How lucky for me, that it happens this way, as that is my passion.
Because I believe we all have a mission and we are equipped with the exact right talents, education, experience and passion to accomplish it.
I believe that every person/skill you need is right there sitting around the table with you and together you can change the world.

Recently a professor from the university where I used to work encouraged me to write a book about PD and base it around the blog. What do you think?

Eric Liddel, who was a Scot olympic runner depicted in the movie, “Chariots Of Fire,” said when asked by a fan, how he came to become a great runner. He answered: “God made me fast, and when I run, I feel His pleasure.”
I believe we can all say the same; and gather with those who are like gifted to fulfill our unique purpose.

I love this post Diana! It inspires two thoughts for me. The first is to make sure we look at those around the table with us using lenses of future possibility, not past experience. The second is to ensure that we know our deepest passions and use them at that level. I used to think of my passion as team leadership and I’ve since discovered that to be intrue. At a deeper level, my passion is for facilitating the success and progress of others, a passion best deployed with no associated authority! Very different motivations when one gets to the base of it.
