Trust in what you love, continue to do it, and it will take you where you need to go. ~ Natalie Goldberg
If you’ve been following my blog for some time, you know that I’ve been going through a process to actualize my vision for my life: IGNITING THE POWER AND PASSION IN OTHERS…
You also know that part of that vision includes The Other Bottom Line.
But if that was the only thing I was working on, it would be insufficient. (My opinion anyway)
That’s why I’ve taken a hard look at my whole life and identified 5 major priorities that I intentionally think about every day in all that I do. These priorities are: God, My Tribe, My Needs, My purpose, and My Health.
This journey I’ve been taking is exciting and life-giving!
It is also scary and risky and some days I wonder what the hell I’m been thinking!
But I want you to know that I would not go back and change a thing.
What do you love?
If you could fill your days doing the things that give you life, what would that look like?

I love your energy and what you put out there, Diana! Fearless inspiration!
I love connecting, collaborating, creating – alllll the c’s! haha!
I’ve always had these loves but how I engage them has significantly changed over the years.
I wouldn’t do the other c word – change – I wouldn’t change a thing either. I feel incredibly blessed for where my life’s path has lead me.
Choosing your life is key – living deliberately is so beautiful!

I guess I would share my gifts with the world. Be outside, garden, watch or participate in comedy. Learn to sing and play guitar. Cuddle. Speak to groups. Talk.

Sometimes a post comes along at just the right time. Thanks for this one Diana. I am about to embark in a big change in my life and a post like this reminds me of why I am giving up the steady day job to pursue a life I want. (Despite being a bit afraid of the unknown)

Ahh you’re pulling a schwenk haha! I did the same thing; scary as hell, but I never felt so alive and it’s amazing how when you stubbornly follow your heart pearls of encouragement are tossed in along the way to confirm your journey! Hang on it’s a wild and wonderful ride! I hope you share parts of your journey as you go along.

Love it I’m pulling a schwenk 🙂 Thanks for the encouragement. I am 3 parts excited and 1 part afraid. I think that’s pretty good odds. And I do plan to share my journey on my blog. Stay tuned.

I like the quote at the beginning of this post–though I want to add another sentence to it that would say something about the importance of spending less time on things that are not rewarding.

It sounds like you’ve been in a place where you’ve had to do this, or know someone who does this? It’s never fun to spend lots of time doing something you hate, is it?
