Imagine having your grandmother’s diary and being able to read what she wrote in her teens a hundred years ago. Wouldn’t that be cool? Well Sheryl over at A HUNDRED YEARS AGO does! Her posts are always today’s date, but a hundred years ago! I love the old photos and journal entries and Sheryl always adds her own thoughts in these delightful posts.
In her own words, Sheryl says:
One quarter of my genes come from the woman who wrote this diary. I’m seeking to learn from the past and gain insights that will lead to a better future. I’m posting the entries because friends and relatives might also be interested in the diary.
This week, I’ve chosen the post below as my Friday Pick.
In this post Helena (Sheryl’s grandmother) talks about the trouble she gets into when she gets her fingerprints on the piano.
