My daughter and I are flying to Montreal tomorrow morning!
We will be spending Christmas with my family.
For me, it’s the first time in 23 years.
For my daughter it’s the first time EVER!
I will try to post some tidbits while I’m away but my time on here will be sporadic.
I will miss my online community ❤
I will miss your brilliance and inspiring stories and messages.
Be good to each other and…
I wish you a Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year!
Hugs an’ Kisses

something like that. But did you know that when they convert pounds in Europe it’s exactly 2 to 1? Why oh why don’t my neighbours to the south just convert already with most of the rest of the world?! 😉 it’s so easy… 1000 metres is a kilometer, 100 centimetres is a metre, etc…. come on now what is a mile 5000 something feet right? 🙂

It’s so simple – 5280 feet or 1760 yards. I think we hang onto it because it is so ergonomic – a foot is based on the length a human foot would fit in, a yard is the distance between your outstretched hand and your nose – multiply that by 1760 and you get a mile – see, it’s simple.

🙂 I think it’s the conversion that hangs us up – what equals a pint – we just can’t get past that. Plus the whole temperature scale – brrrrrr

you think the US will have colder temps if you convert to metric?

for Christmas, I grant you the last word ( laughing )
but you have to fight for it.
but remember that every event has stresses when we get out of our rhythm so let it flow.

hmm lessons are safer to learn when they’re young and you’re there to pick up the pieces. When M was little she kept climbing on stuff and I’d say yikes careful and run to pick her up! Once i thought just let her fall off the chair and she did and then she was better at taking advice after that…
